As the Freelance UX/UI and Brand Designer, I led the redesign of the platform’s user interface, ensuring it caters to both B2B and B2C needs. I worked with a team of 2 designers and 3 developers to bring the platform to life.

The project aimed to create a multifunctional platform that connects businesses, customers, and employees, providing comprehensive tools for efficient business management and growth.

ALL-In-ONE B2B PLATFORM

Ice-Peak had a start-up idea to replace countless of business platforms with 1 easy to use platform. As companies struggle to get talented employees, the goal was to create a platform where employees and customers can leave reviews. Companies can create their public profile and advertise their culture. There will also be job postings and networking integrated.

Ice-Peak already had a platform that they developed, however it was not attracting new customers and was hard to use. The goal was to create a new re-branded platform.

Challenge

At the start, the project faced significant challenges. Combining networking, reviews, and job postings meant many functionalities had to be included, making the scope seem unrealistic for a 2-month timeline.Moreover, it was crucial to avoid making the platform overwhelming.

I addressed this by identifying the MVP and main target audience with the owners. Through strategic sessions, we discussed the platform’s direction and innovative features. We created separate landing pages for B2B and B2C audiences and simplified dashboards to enhance user navigation.

I have developed a brand identity from scratch that can be used both in digital and offline space. The brand identity merges modernity with functionality. The style guide emphasizes minimalism and futuristic visuals that resonates with our target B2B audience and sets us apart in the digital space. I have also developed custom 3-D illustration.

The launch wasn’t the endpoint—post-launch, I continually analysed user interaction data to optimise the landing pages. Our goal was clear: maximise lead generation. This iterative process of testing and refinement ensured that the website not only attracted but also converted B2B clients.

Maintaining your profile is incredibly easy with the customized dashboards, tailored for both B2B and B2C users and optimized for mobile, ensuring seamless access anywhere. B2B dashboards offer insights into business health, public profiles, networking events, and job applications, while B2C focuses on job search and review tracking. Additionally, special features like tailored quizzes and messaging are integrated for enhanced interaction.

Unified B2B Ecosystem

B2B profiles are packed with features that allow businesses to connect, gather insights and grow. Each firm gets evaluated on 6 categories, suggesting areas for improvement and giving an opportunity to earn rewards. This allows businesses to stand-out in their industry and attract new customers and talent.

We brought the brand's identity to life on social media and in ads. With my lead on creative direction, we've put together some really cool digital ad campaigns. We made sure to use the brand's unique look and fun characters in everything we did, helping Hi-Five stand out and get noticed. A few things we did:

OUTCOME

Post-launch, Hi-Five experienced an increase in user engagement and client acquisition. The unique branding and user-friendly website set Hi-Five Design apart from competitors. Additional benefits:

• Positive client feedback on the ease of use and visual appeal
• 50% increase in bookings via calendly

Takeaways

This project reinforced the importance of aligning design with brand values to achieve a cohesive visual identity. It also showed me the importance of a branding identity across all levels of business, from internal employee branding to marketing and client acquisition.

I really enjoyed working on Hi-Five Design Branding and brainstorming creative campaigns and all the ways how to implement branding in the real world :)
